Job Opportunity – Catheterization Laboratory Technician II – Texas

Start Date: May 11, 2026
Location: San Marcos, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (7:30 AM - 3:30 PM)

Highlights:

• Work as an experienced member of a cardiac catheterization laboratory team supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Utilize advanced cardiovascular technology including IVUS, ICE, hemodynamic systems, and rotational atherectomy equipment
• Serve as a preceptor and resource for junior technicians, sharing expertise in advanced procedures and structural heart technology
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to patient safety, quality control, and departmental efficiency
• Opportunity to work with cutting-edge cardiac interventional equipment including IABP, Impella, and LVAD systems
• Full-time position with consistent daytime hours

Requirements:

• 2+ years of Diagnostic, Interventional Radiology, or Cath/EP Lab experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA only) required
• One of the following certifications required: RCIS, RCES, RCS, ARRT (R), ARRT (CI), ARRT (CV), ARRT (VI), or RDMS/RDCS credentials
• Associate's degree in cardiovascular technology, radiologic technology, or healthcare-related field preferred
• Proficiency in sterile technique, access site management, and radiation safety protocols
• Strong documentation skills and experience with hemodynamic measurements and ECG recognition
