Location: Chattanooga, Tennessee
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, participative scheduling with minimum 3 weekend shifts per month, flexible placement based on facility needs

Highlights:

• 12-bed Surgical Intensive Care Unit with advanced critical care technology
• Standard ICU patient ratios of 1:2 RN, adjusted for acuity
• Experience with specialized equipment including Impella heart pumps and Hemosphere advanced monitoring platforms
• Meditech electronic medical record system
• Primary RN staffing model with dayshift unit secretary support
• Participation in critical care rapid response and code blue teams

Requirements:

• Active Tennessee RN license or compact state eligibility
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• CCRN certification preferred
• Cardiac critical care experience required
• Post-operative open heart surgery experience, including care of patients 1-2 days post-op
• Experience with intubations, CRRT, and hemodynamic monitoring preferred
• Willingness to float to PCU and medical-surgical units as needed
