Location: Asheville, North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with every other weekend requirement and holiday support rotation

Highlights:

• 10-bed ICU/PCU overflow unit with 2:1 ICU and 4-5:1 PCU patient ratios
• Full access to advanced critical care equipment including ventilators, Targeted Temperature Management (TTM), lift equipment, and IV pumps
• Cerner electronic documentation system
• Collaborative team environment with charge nurse support and structured staffing model
• Hands-on critical care experience assisting with bedside procedures including chest tube insertions and intubations
• Opportunity to provide relief charge nurse leadership and perform nurse leader rounding

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• Medical ICU experience in a large facility setting
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Proficiency with hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Advanced critical care skills including IV sedation, paralytics, vasopressors, central line management, and critical care pharmacology
• Willingness to float to other units as needed
• Adherence to bedside shift report protocols
