Location: Chattanooga, Tennessee
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 5–6:1 patient ratio; every other weekend required (4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule); floating to other medical/surgical units as needed

Highlights:

• 30-bed cardiac unit with experienced charge nurse leadership (12–39 years seniority)
• Philips telemetry monitoring; Meditech HCA documentation system
• Advanced cardiac drip management including Heparin, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, and Amiodarone
• Comprehensive procedures: chest tube management, wound vac management, and EKG administration
• Strong unit support including unit clerks, PCTs, nursing supervisors, and hospitalists
• Recognition programs including Daisy Awards, Bee Awards, and iHEAL nominations

Requirements:

• Current Tennessee RN license or compact state license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIH certification needed
• Cardiac nursing knowledge strongly preferred
• Experience with advanced cardiac drips and telemetry monitoring
• Proficiency with vasoactive medications and critical monitoring
