Location: Asheville, North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM, with occasional extended shifts 1-2 times per week

• Work in a specialized 4-bed CV PreOp unit with 1:1 patient ratios in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Utilize advanced equipment including GE Carescape Monitoring and Fuji ultrasound technology
• Collaborate with a dedicated team including RNs, Clinical Nurse Coordinators, and shared support with CVOR staff
• Document in Cerner EMR system with streamlined workflows
• Be part of the busiest robotic surgery program in the Carolinas and the region's only open heart and interventional cardiology center

Requirements:

• Current RN license in North Carolina
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Critical care experience is essential; PreOp experience is a plus
• Proficiency in large-bore IV starts, medication administration, and assisting with arterial lines, central lines, and epidural placement
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work independently in a high-acuity setting
• Excellent communication and interdepartmental collaboration abilities
• Experience with BCMA and detailed documentation practices
