Job Opportunity – Pediatric Operating Room RN – Wisconsin

Start Date: Flexible – May 18, June 1, or June 8, 2026
Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Full-time with on-call requirements – 1 weekend every 6-8 weeks, 1 weeknight per week (Monday-Thursday), and holiday coverage as needed

Highlights:

• Work in a Magnet-designated comprehensive pediatric medical and surgical center with nationally recognized specialists
• Serve diverse patient populations including neonates, infants, children, and adolescents in ambulatory and trauma OR settings
• Epic charting system with 32 hours of structured orientation
• Level I Pediatric Trauma Center experience with exposure to complex surgical cases and advanced procedures
• Interdisciplinary support from pharmacy and respiratory services
• Two approved time-off periods available during assignment

Requirements:

• Active Wisconsin RN license or Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of application)
• Minimum 2 years of acute care pediatric OR experience within the last 3 years (required)
• Pediatric OR, ambulatory OR, and pediatric trauma experience (required)
• BLS certification – American Heart Association only (required)
• PALS certification preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Trauma Level I and II experience required
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Must pass telemetry competency exam with strict passing criteria
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
