Description
Start Date: June 15, 2026
Location: Washington, DC
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week, day shift
Highlights:
- Care for pregnant patients from 17 weeks gestation through labor and delivery
- Perform admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-op preparation, and assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
- Manage scheduled procedures including C-sections, external cephalic versions, and cerclage
- Utilize Cerner EMR and Fetalink documentation systems alongside standard fetal monitoring equipment
- Provide triage assessment and care for obstetric emergencies and routine labor progression
- Must reside 50 miles or more from facility location
Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse license in state/district
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification required
- Cerner EMR experience required
