Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Surgical Technologist – Georgia

Start Date: June 29, 2026
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Rotating weekends; call required (typically one weekday per week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks); floating within facility and to Main OR as needed

Highlights:

• Work with a diverse cardiovascular case mix including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, LVAD/RVAD, VATS, and thoracic procedures
• 1:1 patient ratio providing focused, high-quality surgical support
• Epic charting system experience required
• Contract lengths vary with coordinated orientation; first-time travelers welcome with 2+ years of experience
• Preference for candidates with Trauma Level I or II and community hospital experience
• Interdisciplinary team support including respiratory and interpretation services

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of surgical tech experience
• Active Georgia or Compact state license at time of submission
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Scrub experience in cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgery procedures
• Proficiency with advanced cardiovascular procedures including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, carotid endarterectomy, and ventricular assist devices
• Full compliance documentation required prior to start date
