Description
Start Date: June 29, 2026
Location: Washington, District of Columbia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, night shift
Highlights:
- Fast-paced, high-acuity emergency department serving diverse patient populations including trauma, critical care, pediatric, psychiatric, and urgent care
- Manage critical care skills including medication titrations, arterial lines, mass transfusion protocols, and chest tube management
- Serve as bedside trauma RN in the trauma room with patient ratios up to 1:5
- Utilize Cerner EMR system for comprehensive patient documentation
- 13-week travel assignment with competitive compensation package
- Opportunity to work with a dynamic team delivering complex nursing care in a Level I trauma environment
Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse license in state or district of practice
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
- Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required
- BSN highly desired
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Must reside at least 50 miles from facility location
- Willingness and ability to work in trauma room as bedside trauma RN
