Location: Dallas, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36 hours per week; shift times and weekend requirements to be discussed during interview; call requirements determined during interview; flexible scheduling with advance notice of approximately one month

Highlights:

• 16-bed Surgical Intensive Care Unit with 1:2 patient ratio (estimated)
• 13-week assignment with specialized surgical population, especially oncology patients
• Advanced equipment including ventilators, NXStage, Arctic Sun, and GE Cardiac Output monitors
• Meditech documentation system
• Assignments determined by patient acuity and skill level
• Floating as needed based on facility requirements

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years ICU experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• CCRN certification preferred
• Experience with CRRT and hypothermia protocols preferred
• Meditech experience preferred
• Experience with surgical population, especially oncology patients
• Proficiency in ICU procedures including central line placements, thoracentesis, dialysis catheter placements, cardioversions, intubations, and other critical care interventions
