Description
Start Date: June 23, 2026
Location: Dallas, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 36 hours per week; shift times and weekend requirements to be discussed during interview; call requirements determined during interview; flexible scheduling with advance notice of approximately one month
Highlights:
- 16-bed Surgical Intensive Care Unit with 1:2 patient ratio (estimated)
- 13-week assignment with specialized surgical population, especially oncology patients
- Advanced equipment including ventilators, NXStage, Arctic Sun, and GE Cardiac Output monitors
- Meditech documentation system
- Assignments determined by patient acuity and skill level
- Floating as needed based on facility requirements
Requirements:
- Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- CCRN certification preferred
- Experience with CRRT and hypothermia protocols preferred
- Meditech experience preferred
- Experience with surgical population, especially oncology patients
- Proficiency in ICU procedures including central line placements, thoracentesis, dialysis catheter placements, cardioversions, intubations, and other critical care interventions
