Location: Asheville, North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM, with occasional stay-late requirements 1-2 times per week

• 4-bed unit with 1:1 patient ratio focusing on high-acuity cardiovascular surgical patients
• Utilize Cerner documentation system and state-of-the-art equipment including GE Carescape Monitoring and Fuji ultrasound
• Engage in advanced preoperative procedures including large-bore IV starts, assisting with arterial and central line placement, and patient transport to OR
• Collaborate with a supportive interdepartmental team including Clinical Nurse Coordinator, manager, and shared support staff with the cardiovascular operating room
• Fast-paced, autonomous role requiring critical thinking skills and excellent communication

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license in North Carolina
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
• Critical Care experience is essential
• PreOp experience preferred
• Proficiency with Barcode Medication Administration (BCMA) and excellent documentation skills
• Ability to work independently in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
