Schedule: Night shift, 19:00-07:30, choice of 3x12 or 4x12 schedule. Weekend coverage includes 3 shifts per 4-week scheduling period. Call coverage is not required.

Highlights:

• 34-bed Medical/Surgical unit with telemetry capabilities
• Patient ratios of 1:5-7, optimized using an acuity-based staffing tool
• 13-week contract with possibility of extension
• Electronic medical records system: Cerner
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• 12 hours of orientation provided

Requirements:

• Active RN License (West Virginia or Compact state accepted; pending licenses considered)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current certifications: BLS (BCLS), ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) through American Heart Association
• Permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
• Minimum of 2 professional references from managers or charge nurses within the past 2 years
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:6 or higher preferred
• Proficiency in skills including telemetry monitoring, blood product administration, central line care, interpretation of dysrhythmias, IV therapy, wound care, and isolation precautions
