Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – Washington

Start Date: July 13, 2026

Location: Washington

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3 x 12-hour day shifts per week, 8-week contract assignment. On-call requirement: one shift per week. Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility.

Highlights:

  • Labor & Delivery experience required with postpartum care capabilities
  • Patient population includes females of childbearing years, pregnant patients from 17 weeks gestation, laboring mothers, and scheduled procedures
  • Responsibilities include admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-op coordination, and deliveries (vaginal and cesarean)
  • Electronic documentation using Cerner and Fetalink systems
  • Includes triage, scheduled C-sections, external cephalic versions, and cerclage procedures
  • Comprehensive fetal monitoring and maternal care environment

Requirements:

  • Active Registered Nurse license in state/district
  • Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – required
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – required
  • AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification – required
  • LRDP (Low-Risk Delivery Program) experience preferred
  • Labor with postpartum experience strongly preferred
