Description
Start Date: July 13, 2026
Location: Washington
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3 x 12-hour day shifts per week, 8-week contract assignment. On-call requirement: one shift per week. Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility.
Highlights:
- Labor & Delivery experience required with postpartum care capabilities
- Patient population includes females of childbearing years, pregnant patients from 17 weeks gestation, laboring mothers, and scheduled procedures
- Responsibilities include admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-op coordination, and deliveries (vaginal and cesarean)
- Electronic documentation using Cerner and Fetalink systems
- Includes triage, scheduled C-sections, external cephalic versions, and cerclage procedures
- Comprehensive fetal monitoring and maternal care environment
Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse license in state/district
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – required
- AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification – required
- LRDP (Low-Risk Delivery Program) experience preferred
- Labor with postpartum experience strongly preferred
