Start Date: July 21, 2026
Location: Rochester, New York
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 4x12 Night Shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, with every other weekend

Highlights:

• 13-week contract with possible extension at a 528-bed tertiary care hospital
• Complex care unit serving medicine, orthopedic overflow, and long-term complex patients
• High-volume environment with 1:6 patient ratio experience required; shift ratios may range 1:5 to 1:7
• Epic charting system in use; prior Epic experience is required
• Floating to other units required; local candidates within 75 miles not eligible
• Previous charge experience required

Requirements:

• Active New York RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience
• Previous charge nurse experience
• Demonstrated experience managing 1:6 patient ratios
• Epic EMR experience required
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications (valid NIHSS certificate must be provided with application)
• Competency in telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV therapy, central line and PICC care, blood product administration, feeding tube management, wound care/wound vac, phlebotomy, tracheostomy management, high-flow nasal cannula, and isolation precautions
• Experience with complex patient populations including orthopedic trauma, total joint replacements, pacemakers, chest tubes, and cardiac/vasoactive drips
• First-time travelers accepted with qualifying experience
