Job Opportunity – Oncology RN – Texas

Start Date: July 21, 2026

Location: Dallas, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Rotating weekends, day and night shifts available, 4:1 to maximum 5:1 patient ratios

Highlights:

  • 41-bed medical oncology unit in a progressive acute care setting
  • Collaborative team structure with dedicated charge nurse, RN staff, and patient care technicians on each shift
  • Meditech EMR system with Baxter pump equipment
  • Specialized oncology procedures including blood and electrolyte replacement, sterile dressing changes, and central line/port management
  • Structured staffing model supporting quality patient care delivery
  • Multiple positions available

Requirements:

  • Current RN license in Texas or multi-state compact
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Strong understanding of sterile dressing changes and infection prevention protocols
  • Solid knowledge of blood and electrolyte replacement processes
  • Familiarity with ports and central lines preferred
  • General medical oncology experience highly desired
