Description
Start Date: August 10, 2026
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with call coverage one day per week and every 4th or 5th weekend (Saturday 7:00 AM - Monday 7:00 AM). Floating required approximately one weeknight per week and one weekend per month.
Highlights:
- High-volume specialized ultrasound department performing 40 patient visits daily across 5 procedure rooms
- Focused experience with liver and kidney transplant population requiring advanced Doppler proficiency
- High procedural volume including liver biopsies, neck/thyroid fine needle aspirations, and transplant biopsies
- Equipment: Philips and Siemens ultrasound systems
- EMR: Cerner experience preferred
- First-time travelers accepted; 13-week assignment with potential for extension
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of ultrasound/sonography experience required
- RDMS-AB (Abdomen) certification required
- BLS certification required
- ARDMS OB/GYN and RDCS-RVT certifications preferred
- Must demonstrate expert-level proficiency in liver and kidney Doppler studies
- Strong experience with venous Doppler (upper and lower extremities), liver biopsies, and ultrasound-guided procedures
- Active state licensure required prior to start date
- Two supervisor references required
