Job Opportunity – Operating Room RN – Wisconsin

Start Date: August 31, 2026

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day/Evening 12-hour shifts, three shifts weekly (6:40am-7:10pm) with potential for one 9:40am-10:10pm shift biweekly. Weekend rotation and weekday call requirement included.

Highlights:

• Specialize in advanced surgical procedures including kidney and pancreas transplants, urological and gynecological robotic surgery using Da Vinci Xi system
• Diverse case mix: HOLEP, cystectomy, nephrectomy, hysterectomy, ureteroscopy, laparoscopic gynecology, anterior/posterior repair, organ procurements, and prostatectomy
• Epic charting system experience required
• Work at a Magnet-designated facility ranked as Wisconsin's top hospital and recognized as one of the nation's leading teaching and referral centers
• Contract assignment with professional development opportunities in high-acuity surgical specialties
• Float to other units as needed; minimum 50-mile radius from facility required

Requirements:

• Active RN License required
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association only) required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care Operating Room experience within the last 3 years
• Required expertise in Urology, Gynecology/Oncology, kidney transplant, pancreas transplant, and robotic surgery
• Epic charting system proficiency required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Must successfully pass telemetry exam with strict criteria prior to start date
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
