Description
Start Date: August 25, 2026
Location: Alaska
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Flexible scheduling – choose between 3x12 or 4x12 variable shifts (days or nights based on facility needs at start). 1:20 nurse-to-patient ratio. No on-call required. Guaranteed 60 hours per two-week period.

- ECS charting system with comprehensive patient care including wound care, respiratory treatments, IV hydration, and specialized feeding protocols

- Float within scope to meet facility needs; shifts will not rotate between days and nights
- Free parking and professional work environment with interdisciplinary support
Requirements:
- Active Alaska RN license in hand prior to submission (pending licenses not accepted)
- Minimum 1 year of Long Term Care nursing experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
- Current BLS certification
- Must reside at least 50 miles from facility (local candidates not accepted)
- Experience with 1:20 patient ratios preferred
- Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance (if accepting facility-provided vehicle)
- Must be at least 25 years old to qualify for rental vehicle option
- Alaska Food Worker Certification (obtained during onsite orientation; one-time $10 fee applies)
- Hepatitis B vaccination required (or willingness to obtain vaccination or medical exemption)
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years, including LTC experience

Note: Time off requests must be submitted at time of application. Maximum 1 week RTO for 13-week contracts or 2 weeks RTO for 26-week contracts. Candidates must be willing to work at least 2 of the 3 major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's).
