Job Opportunity – Long Term Care Registered Nurse – Alaska

Start Date: August 25, 2026

Location: Alaska

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Flexible scheduling – choose between 3x12 or 4x12 variable shifts (days or nights based on facility needs at start). 1:20 nurse-to-patient ratio. No on-call required. Guaranteed 60 hours per two-week period.

Requirements:

• Active Alaska RN license in hand prior to submission (pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of Long Term Care nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Current BLS certification
• Must reside at least 50 miles from facility (local candidates not accepted)
• Experience with 1:20 patient ratios preferred
• Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance (if accepting facility-provided vehicle)
• Must be at least 25 years old to qualify for rental vehicle option
• Alaska Food Worker Certification (obtained during onsite orientation; one-time $10 fee applies)
• Hepatitis B vaccination required (or willingness to obtain vaccination or medical exemption)
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years, including LTC experience
