Description
Start Date: September 14, 2026
Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour evening/night shifts between the hours of 7:00 PM and 7:30 AM, with every other weekend and some holidays. Patient ratio of 2:1 across all shifts. 20 hours of orientation provided.

- Work in a state-verified Level One Trauma Center and the only ACS-verified Adult and Pediatric Burn Center in Wisconsin
- 11-bed acuity adaptable unit serving adult and pediatric patients with burns and complex wounds in a critical care setting
- Epic charting system experience required; comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
- Magnet-designated facility recognized as Wisconsin's #1 hospital and among the nation's leading teaching and referral centers
- No burn experience necessary; travelers will not be required to perform burn cares
- Collaborative multidisciplinary team environment with extensive support services
Requirements:
- Active Wisconsin RN license or compact RN license
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience in acute care within the last 3 years
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association only)
- PALS certification preferred
- Epic charting system experience required
- Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Must successfully pass telemetry exam prior to start (80% passing score required; 100% accuracy on lethal rhythms and third-degree heart blocks)
- Must reside 50 miles or more from the facility
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
