Job Opportunity – Respiratory Therapist – Georgia

Start Date: August 31, 2026

Location: Metro Atlanta Area, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 13-week assignment with every other weekend coverage. On-call opportunities available during volume variations. Holiday coverage required per facility policy.

Highlights:

• Neonatal and pediatric patient population with NICU specialization
• High-risk delivery support with hands-on experience in surfactant administration and umbilical cord blood gases
• Epic EMR system utilized throughout facility
• Required experience with Draeger and Servo I ventilators
• Floating opportunities within facility and potentially to sister campus for professional growth
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of experience

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact state Respiratory Therapist license
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• NICU experience with high-risk deliveries (required)
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Demonstrated competency in pulmonary toileting, ABG interpretation, basic EKG, BiPAP, CPAP, trach collar management, and surfactant administration
• Experience with Draeger and Servo I ventilator systems required
