Job Opportunity – Medical Telemetry Registered Nurse – Pennsylvania

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Self-scheduling with every third weekend required. No block scheduling available. Floating to one additional unit may be required. No on-call responsibilities. One summer and one winter holiday required per contract year. Orientation includes 12 hours.

Highlights:

• 39-bed medical telemetry unit caring for patients with complex medical needs including substance use disorders, behavioral health needs, and gastrointestinal, respiratory, and sepsis management
• Patient population includes Hospital Medicine, Gyn Oncology, and Maternal Fetal Medicine with a daily census of approximately 36 patients
• Patient ratio of 4-5 patients; unit provides care for stable ventilator-dependent and tracheostomy patients
• Epic charting system with virtual nursing capabilities for patient education and workflow support
• Advanced respiratory therapies including mid-flow, high-flow (Opti flow), and CPAP management
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, and Rapid Response Teams

Requirements:

• Active Pennsylvania RN license or multistate compact license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Telemetry monitoring experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• BSN preferred; ASN accepted
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Pennsylvania fingerprinting and childline clearance required
• Experience with cardiac telemetry, interpretation of dysrhythmias, IV therapy, central line management, and various medical-surgical skills
• First-time travelers accepted
