Description
Start Date: September 14, 2026
Location: Pennsylvania
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM shifts, with one Saturday per month weekend requirement. Weekend shifts vary between 8 or 12 hours.
Highlights:
- Work with a comprehensive range of MRI imaging procedures including abdomen, pelvis, brain, spine, and vascular studies
- Epic charting system experience required
- Busy department performing approximately 40 visits per day with 3 scanning rooms
- Opportunity to work with adult acute care, ICU, ER/trauma, and outpatient populations
- Float rotation as needed for facility coverage
- Pennsylvania state license not required for this position
Requirements:
- ARRT (R) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of MRI experience
- Demonstrated experience with abdomen and pelvis imaging required
- Epic charting system proficiency required
- Community hospital experience preferred
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Ability to prepare and administer contrast media
- Strong understanding of radiation safety and isolation precautions

Pros
Some of the nurses in the MICU are some of the best people I have ever met. Very high acuity patients but I learned a lot. Amazing teamwork and camaraderie
Cons
The facility is literally falling apart and staffing is terrible sometimes. Management is not as great and supportive as it used to be. Patient population can be difficult to work with (lots of ETOH, withdrawal, ODs, etc)
