Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Asheville, North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Rotating shifts (days or nights), 12-hour shifts, every other weekend required

Highlights:

• 32-bed orthopedic specialty unit within a flagship hospital and Level II trauma center
• Patient ratios: Day shift 5:1 (6:1 stretch), Night shift 6:1 (7:1 stretch)
• Comprehensive orthopedic procedures including post-surgical care, wound management, and specialized equipment training
• EMR: Cerner electronic medical record system
• Work alongside an experienced team including RNs, LPNs, PCTs, and support staff
• Potential for floating to other medical-surgical units as needed

Requirements:

• Active North Carolina RN license (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
• Current BLS certification
• Hospital experience preferred
• Orthopedic nursing experience highly preferred
• Proficiency in dressing changes, catheter placement, NG tube management, and wound vac care
