Description
Start Date: November 9, 2026
Location: Wisconsin
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Evening and night shifts available, 8-hour and 12-hour options (1900-0730). Four 12-hour shifts per week available for interested candidates. Every other weekend and some holidays required. Block scheduling available to accommodate candidate preferences.

- Float across multiple high-acuity critical care units including Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic ICU, Burn ICU, Trauma Surgery ICU, Medical ICU, and Progressive Care
- Epic EMR system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and more
- Patient ratio of 3:1 for both day and night shifts
- 28-hour orientation program in an academic learning environment
- Opportunity to engage in Shared Governance and professional development
Requirements:
- Active Wisconsin RN license or compact state RN license
- Minimum 5 years of critical care nursing experience
- At least 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in ICU specialty
- Level I Trauma Center experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association only)
- Epic charting system experience required
- Must pass telemetry competency exam prior to start (100% accuracy on lethal rhythms and 3rd-degree heart blocks, 80% overall passing score)
- Competency in multiple ICU specialties and basic arrhythmia interpretation
- Experience with arterial lines, ventilator management, vasoactive drips, CRRT, central lines, and other advanced critical care interventions
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions available)
- Must reside 50+ miles from facility
