Job Opportunity – Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Georgia

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Columbus, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Every other weekend required; flexibility to float within facility and to sister campus as needed; holiday coverage required based on assignment period

Highlights:

• Work in a Level 2 Trauma Center with interventional stroke certification and Level 3 NICU with regional transport capabilities
• Diverse patient population from infants to geriatrics, primarily adult respiratory care with pediatric intubated patient exposure
• Comprehensive scope of practice including non-invasive and conventional ventilation, arterial lines, pulmonary function testing, arterial blood gases, and patient education
• Epic EMR system with modern equipment including Viasys Vela, GE Carescape, and Viasys Avea ventilators
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 1 year of experience
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract; local candidates accepted

Requirements:

• Active Georgia RRT license (or eligible)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
• Trauma experience required
• Pulmonary function testing (spirometry) experience preferred
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred
• Full compliance required prior to start date
