Location: Asheville, North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 48 hours guaranteed per week with overtime available after 48 hours. 6 weekend shifts required with 2 being Saturdays. Special scheduling and requests for time off will not be accommodated.

Highlights:

• 19-bed combined pediatric and oncology unit serving diverse patient populations
• Patient ratios of 1:3, 1:4, or 1:5 depending on census and acuity
• EMR system: Cerner; equipment includes Alaris pumps
• 4-hour hospital orientation followed by 8-hour floor shift
• May float to PICU or NICU as needed
• Competitive guaranteed hours with overtime opportunities

Requirements:

• Active North Carolina RN license (or ability to obtain)
• Hospital-based pediatric nursing experience required
• BLS and PALS certification required
• APHON certification required for oncology patient assignments
• Detail-oriented and organized personality with strong clinical skills
• Pediatric oncology experience strongly preferred
