Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: October 26, 2026
Location: Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts with 4:1 patient ratio; every other weekend required; no call

Highlights:

• Fast-paced Emergency Department with diverse case mix including HTN, Diabetes, CHF, ESRD, CAD, STEMI/NSTEMI, Pulmonary Embolism, COPD, and Behavioral Health
• 34-room department with daily census of 150 patients serving all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• Epic EMR system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including RT, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and phlebotomy
• First-time travelers welcome with minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Flexible floating within facility and scope of practice as needed
• Maximum 7 days of pre-approved time off available (blackout dates apply: April 5-11, 2026)

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS (GSCC and EBRR can be obtained onsite)
• Experience with 4:1 patient ratios and Epic charting system required
• Skills required: ventilated patient care, central line management, IV sedation, emergency medications, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, phlebotomy, IV starts and maintenance, procedural sedation, triage, and management of multisystem organ dysfunction
• Community hospital, LTAC, and Level I/II Trauma Center experience preferred
• Full compliance required to start on time; orientation is bi-weekly (incomplete compliance results in 2-week delay)
