California CT Technologist Job Details

• Location: Weaverville, CA 96093 (Northern California healthcare jobs)
• Setting: Hospital Radiology Department
• Employment Type: Travel Healthcare Assignment

• Duration: 13-week contract
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 3 x 12-hour shifts/week; includes evening and weekend call rotation
• Unit: CT Technologist, Radiologic Technologist
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,490 - $2,670

CT Technologist Qualifications

• Associate of Science Degree from an accredited Radiology Program
• Current California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification preferred
• BLS Certification required
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a CT Technologist (2 years in acute care preferred)
• Proficiency in at least two imaging modalities
• Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging exams in CT and radiology modalities
• Position patients for optimal imaging and ensure patient safety
• Operate and troubleshoot CT and radiologic equipment
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and records
• Comply with federal and California state regulations for diagnostic imaging
• Participate in evening and weekend call rotation
• Assist with patient scheduling and department communications
• Monitor supplies and maintain safe working conditions
• Communicate effectively with medical staff, patients, and peers
• Uphold strict patient confidentiality standards
