Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470 – $2,650
- Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL 33308 (Fort Lauderdale healthcare / Florida travel jobs)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 26, 2026 – July 25, 2026)
- Shift: 40 hours per week, 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM); on-call 7–9 days per month
- Setting: Hospital – Interventional Procedures Unit (Interventional Radiology, Vascular Imaging)
- Employment Type: Travel, W2 (travel radiology job / radiology tech travel)
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a hospital or interventional procedures setting (Interventional Radiology Technologist experience preferred)
- Valid Radiologic Technologist license/certification in the required state; ARRT or RT(R) credentials highly preferred
- Interventional Radiology Technician certification preferred
- Ability to participate in on-call rotation (7–9 days per month)
- Compliance with onboarding requirements, including health screenings and background checks
Responsibilities
- Perform interventional radiology and vascular procedures in a hospital setting, assisting physicians during angiography and image-guided interventions
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment for fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, DEXA and diagnostic radiology procedures
- Prepare and position patients, ensure radiation safety and optimize image quality
- Monitor patient condition and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records, procedural documentation and imaging archives
- Provide on-call coverage and respond to emergent interventional imaging needs as scheduled
