Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,540 - $2,730
• Location: Rochester, NY 14642 — Rochester CT jobs / New York travel CT positions
• Setting: Hospital – Level 1 Trauma Center (CT imaging / emergency imaging)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 25, 2026)
• Shift: Weekend Overnights (Friday – Saturday, 7:00pm – 7:30am EST)
• Hours per Week: 36
• On Call: 2-3 call shifts/month (on-call / callback coverage)

Requirements

• Completion of formal training in an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
• Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) — CT credential preferred
• Valid NYS CT Technologist license (must obtain prior to start)
• Injection therapy certification listed on license (required at time of submission)
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on CT Technologist experience
• Experience working in a Level 1 Trauma Center or high-acuity emergency imaging environment
• Telemetry experience
• Experience with Siemens CT scanners (minimum 6 months)
• Epic EMR / EPIC experience (highly desired) and familiarity with PACS workflow
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; compassionate, patient-centered approach
• Team player who supports a cohesive clinical environment and rapid clinical decision-making

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and confirm exam orders prior to initiating CT imaging
• Perform CT imaging protocols for trauma and emergency patients; adjust protocols as clinically indicated
• Coordinate with radiologists and ED physicians to provide timely, accurate diagnostic imaging
• Prepare patients for scans, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety
• Insert IVs and administer contrast agents as indicated (injection therapy)
• Position patients safely, including assisting or lifting patients with limited mobility
• Maintain accurate patient records in EPIC and ensure DICOM images are sent to PACS correctly
• Maintain a clean, safe scanning environment and follow radiation safety protocols
• Participate in on-call, callback, and holiday coverage as needed
