- Position: Travel Cath Lab Technician / Cardiovascular Technologist
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 3, 2026)
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,030 – $2,190
- Shift: 8-hour days (07:00 – 15:30); schedule flexibility may include 08:00–16:00 or 10:00–18:00
- Hours per Week: 40
- Call: Required; shared on-call rotation for emergent cases including weekends
- Dress Code: Royal blue or black scrubs
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year recent Cath Lab experience (cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology)
- Active ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association)
- RCIS or RCES certification preferred (cardiovascular technologist credentials)
- Experience with Cath Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) procedures preferred
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR or other electronic medical record systems
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and able to perform in a high-volume, fast-paced structural heart program
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with interventional and diagnostic cardiac procedures including cardiac cath, PCI, EP (atrial fibrillation), Watchman, TAVR, INARI, and device implants (PPM, ICD, Impella)
- Support the sterile field, prepare patients and equipment, and ensure proper device setup and function
- Operate and maintain cath lab equipment, imaging systems, and monitoring devices
- Document procedures and patient care accurately in Meditech EMR and assist with post-procedure handoffs
- Participate in on-call rotation for emergent cases and collaborate closely with RNs, physicians, and CV techs to optimize patient outcomes
- Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and departmental quality standards in a high-performing, award-winning cardiovascular program
