Travel CT Technologist opportunity in Oklahoma City — 13-week hospital contract for ARRT-registered CT/Radiologic Technologists with strong diagnostic imaging skills.

- Role: CT Technologist / Computed Tomography Technologist (Travel)
- Setting: Hospital - Diagnostic Imaging / Radiology Department
- Employment Type: Travel Contract - 13 weeks
- Start Date: 05/04/2026
- Shift: 2 day shifts per week, each 4 hours long, with weekend coverage required
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,200 – $2,360 (competitive pay for travel CT technologist)
Qualifications
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) — Radiologic Technologist / CT certification preferred
- CT Certification highly desired (Computed Tomography credential)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Minimum 3 years of medical imaging experience (excluding school); experience as a CT scanner operator or radiology tech preferred
- Experience with Philips CT equipment highly desired
- Experience with IV contrast administration and contrast safety protocols
- Strong patient positioning, communication, and professionalism in a hospital setting
Responsibilities
- Prepare and position patients for diagnostic CT exams; explain procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort
- Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissues
- Perform radiographic/fluoroscopic C-arm exams and portable imaging as required
- Inject IV contrast media per department protocol and monitor patients for reactions
- Complete all required documentation, requisitions, and PACS/image routing in a timely manner
- Execute protocol reconstructions, printing, and image post-processing as directed by Radiologist
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and report/coordinate repairs; maintain CT scanner and supplies
- Transport patients to/from the department and collaborate with nursing/floor staff to deliver excellent patient care
- Demonstrate professionalism and courtesy with patients, families, coworkers, and physicians
- Attend required in-services, orientations, and maintain continuing competency in diagnostic imaging
- Perform other duties as assigned in the radiology department
