- Job Title: CT / Rad Tech (Cardiac Cath Lab) — Travel Contract / Travel Radiology Technologist
- Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab / Interventional Cardiology
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (June 8, 2026 – September 7, 2026)
- Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (06:30 – 17:00)
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,260 – $2,420 (competitive pay for travel CT techs)
- Call: 1–2 weeknight call shifts (Monday–Friday) and 3-24 hour weekend call shifts per month
- Perks: Scrubs provided; unit accepts first-time travelers
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years recent experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or interventional cardiology setting (PCI, PTCA, stent placement)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- CCI RCIS or ARRT (R) certification required
- If ARRT certified, Maryland state license required (Maryland licensure for radiologic technologists)
- Hands-on experience with interventional cath procedures: right & left heart catheterization, rotablator, thrombectomy, stents, balloon angioplasty, FFR
- Preferred experience: Cerner charting, room circulator duties, ACIST, Phillips/Mac Lab systems, Watchman procedures, Impella insertion, TAVI/TAVR
- Ability to function efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and participate in call rotation
- Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with interventional cardiac catheterization procedures including right and left heart caths, angioplasty, stent placements, FFR, rotablator, PFO closures, TAVR/TAVI, and structural heart procedures
- Scrub and maintain sterile field during procedures; act as scrub tech or circulator as needed
- Monitor patients and specialized cath lab equipment accurately throughout procedures (adult and geriatric populations)
- Operate and troubleshoot cath lab imaging systems (Phillips, Mac Lab, ACIST) and support interventional teams
- Participate in call rotation and respond to emergent cases as required
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV, respiratory, pharmacy, and rapid response teams to ensure high-quality patient care
