Travel Nurse Job Details

• Location: Cleveland, OH 44109 — Cleveland nursing jobs / Ohio RN jobs
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 3, 2026)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 – $2,010
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shifts: 12-hour shifts (Days 7am–7pm or Nights 7pm–7am)
• Holiday and Weekend Rotation: Required
• On-Call: None

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio (compact license accepted if applicable)
• Current BLS from the American Heart Association
• Current ACLS from the American Heart Association
• Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a stepdown, telemetry, or similar acute care/cardiac setting

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN preferred or professional certification recognized by Magnet-designated organizations
• Previous travel nurse experience and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR)

Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the cardiac stepdown/telemetry unit
• Perform continuous cardiac monitoring, interpret telemetry data, and recognize changes in cardiac rhythms
• Assess patient conditions, prioritize care, and respond to clinical changes promptly
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (cardiology, respiratory therapy, case management) to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis, procedures, and post-discharge cardiac care
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and uphold standards of patient safety and quality improvement
