• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,580 - $2,770
• Location: Winston-Salem, NC (27103) — local travel radiology job in North Carolina
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (travel assignment)
• Position: Travel Radiologic Technologist / Interventional Radiology (IR Tech)
• Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts per week (Mon–Fri), staggered starts between 07:00 and 08:30
• Call Requirement: Rotating primary and backup call (primary call one day every 4 weeks; weekend coverage every 5th–6th weekend; backup call ~7 days every 9 weeks)
• Orientation: Hospital orientation during week one; availability required for daily classes
• Scrubs: Provided

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year recent scrub experience in Interventional Radiology, including neuro and stroke procedures (IR Tech experience)
• Travel experience required — not accepting first-time travelers
• Experience operating Siemens and Philips x-ray equipment required (Acuson ultrasound preferred)
• Inpatient hospital experience, PACS, and contrast procedures required
• Current ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) certification and BLS required
• NC state license or Compact license required at time of start
• Ability to rotate call and work weekends/evenings as needed (hospital call rotation)
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• ARRT Advanced Certification preferred
• Experience in outpatient, OR, ER, Level I trauma centers, teaching hospitals, and ablation procedures preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of interventional radiology procedures including stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrograms, kyphoplasty, biopsies, drainages, peripheral and central vascular studies, venous access, and neurovascular interventions
• Manage a daily caseload of approximately 13–17 patients (primarily adults and geriatrics, with occasional adolescents)
• Maintain proficiency in neuro and stroke interventions and IR best practices
• Operate and troubleshoot Siemens and Philips imaging equipment; Acuson ultrasound use preferred
• Establish and maintain sterile field and proper scrub technique for IR cases
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary hospital teams (physicians, nursing, anesthesiology) to ensure optimal patient care and workflow
• Participate in hospital orientation, complete required modules, and comply with facility policies and call schedules
