Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) in Naples, FL (34119) — active RN license, ACLS/BLS, Cerner experience required. Join our perioperative team as a surgical nurse on a 13-week travel assignment in beautiful Southwest Florida.

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,570 - $1,650
• Location: Naples, FL 34119 (Naples healthcare jobs / Southwest Florida)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour days (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse – On-site Operating Room position

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Active RN license (must be in good standing)
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room RN experience; 2+ years preferred, especially in Ortho, Neuro, Robotics, ENT, General Surgery, or Urology
• Experience with Cerner EMR required
• CNOR certification preferred (perioperative nursing credential)
• Ability to float between campuses as needed
• Preferred skills: strong critical thinking, perioperative/surgical nursing skills, scrub and circulating experience

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality perioperative and intraoperative care as an OR Registered Nurse (surgical nurse)
• Scrub and assist surgeons during cases; circulate when required
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, OR techs, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely, efficient surgical flow
• Ensure supplies and instrumentation are available and cases run on time; maintain and update physician preference cards
• Communicate effectively with patients' families and care teams regarding perioperative plans and post-op care
• Supervise and support personnel delivering patient care in accordance with State Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and regulatory standards
