Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010 (competitive weekly pay)
• Location: Phillipsburg, NJ 08865 — New Jersey nursing jobs / Phillipsburg healthcare
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours per Week: 36 hours
• Shift: Nights — 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM; 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (Telemetry RN, night shift)
• Schedule: Every other holiday and every other weekend
• Start Date: May 18, 2026
• Work Type: On-site, contract nursing / healthcare job

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey
• Minimum 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical Telemetry (Med/Surg Tele) experience
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment, telemetry interpretation, and communication skills
• Ability to work every other holiday and every other weekend as scheduled

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients on the Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit
• Continuously monitor and interpret telemetry data; respond promptly to changes in patient status
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed with safe medication administration practices
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, case managers, and allied health staff) to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning to support safe transitions of care
