• Shifts: 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 – $2,100 (competitive travel nurse pay)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• BSN required (no exceptions) — required for many oncology and advanced telemetry roles
• Minimum 2 years recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience (Telemetry Nurse / Medical-Surgical RN)
• Experience with medical oncology and telemetry highly preferred (oncology nursing experience helpful)
• Ability to pass Telemetry competency testing and proficiency with telemetry monitoring
• Willingness to work every other weekend and one summer holiday as scheduled
• Active RN license in Pennsylvania or compact state required

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 12-bed Med/Surg Telemetry unit, with expansion to 21 beds as the unit grows
• Deliver high-quality clinical care focusing on medical oncology and telemetry patients, including telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm assessment
• Perform thorough patient assessments, medication administration, and clinical interventions consistent with RN scope of practice
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (physicians, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, case managers) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in ongoing Telemetry education, competency assessments, and unit-based training
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the electronic medical record and uphold the highest standards of patient safety and infection control
• Flexibility to work scheduled weekends and required summer holidays
