Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,230-$1,300
• Setting: Neuro Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour day shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour days
• Hours per Week: 36
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 10/19/2026
• Weekend Rotation: Every third weekend
• Unit Environment: Team nursing model on a 30-bed unit with strong interdisciplinary support
• Location: Springfield, Ohio (45504) — convenient central location with access to parks, dining, and regional hubs

Job Requirements

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of employment, or active LPN applicant status
• At least 1 year of recent acute care, long-term care, or physician practice experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required
• EKG exam required for consideration
• Completion of an accredited LPN program
• Strong communication, teamwork, time management, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to provide safe, compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced acute care setting

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and other licensed providers
• Administer ordered medications and treatments within LPN scope of practice
• Assist with patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
• Perform phlebotomy services and collect patient data accurately and timely
• Document observations, interventions, and patient responses according to unit guidelines
• Recognize and report changes in patient condition to the appropriate care team members
• Support high-quality patient care for neuro, cardiac, renal, and med/surg patients
• Follow infection control, safety, HIPAA, and OSHA standards at all times
• Collaborate with the care team to promote positive patient outcomes and efficient unit flow
