Opportunity:
CT Scan Tech
Job Details:
• Work three 12-hour night shifts: Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Holiday rotation required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Float within scope to meet facility needs and to sister facilities as needed
• Rotate through all buildings when needed
• Handle approximately 60 exams per day with varying caseload per shift and location
• Work primarily with cardiac exams (75% cardiac), routine studies, stroke patients, and interventional radiology procedures
• Treat patients of all age groups: adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT RT (R) (CT), and SCRQSA (R) (CT)
• South Carolina license required
• 1 year experience preferable or 6 months Level 1 trauma experience required
• Siemens experience and Level 1 trauma experience required
• Work with Siemens Naeotom Alpha Photon counting and Siemens X.Cite equipment
• Must provide own radiation badge (agency supplied)
• Scrub color: teal top and black bottom
• Use Epic charting system
• 40 hours of orientation required
• May be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)

The hospital maintains state-of-the-art CT technology and provides extensive support for complex cardiac procedures, interventional radiology, and trauma cases, serving as a major referral center for the region.
