Opportunity:

AN - Emergency Department

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
• Floating to other units required
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• Charge nurse capability highly preferred
• Work with a diverse patient population including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients
• Common patient diagnoses include stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Operate specialty equipment including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
• Work in a 64-bed unit with 2 triage, 40 acute, 6 super track, 2 trauma, 10 CDU, and 6 psych beds
• Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience with some pediatric experience required
• Travel experience required
• EMR experience with EPIC required
• Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (must be in hand)
• Active New York RN license required
