CT Technologist

Job Details:

• 8-hour day shifts with a 30-minute lunch break
• Rotating weekend shifts required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Float required between outpatient and hospital settings as needed; may also float to nearby affiliate facilities
• Schedule open to block scheduling per manager discretion
• Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year
• Facility may call off once per two-week pay period
• Required certifications: ARRT R, BLS, venipuncture certification, and fluoroscopy permit
• Epic charting experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Scrub color requirement: Black
• Free parking available
• Patients served include neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Patient diagnoses include code stroke, traumas, TAVR, and general CT exams and X-rays
• Required skills include: Abdomen without and/or with contrast, Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, Aspirations, Biopsies, Brain perfusion, Cervical, Chest without and/or with contrast, Coronary CTA, CT arthrography, Drainage, Emergency Department, Head without and/or with contrast, ICU, Lumbar, Multiplanar reconstruction, Musculoskeletal trauma, Myelography, PACS, Pelvis without and/or with contrast, Preparation and/or administration of contrast media, Starting Peripheral IVs, Thoracic, Transplant studies, Vascular CTA, Venipuncture, and code stroke

Facility:

This acute care hospital operates with 277 staffed beds and provides a full range of inpatient and outpatient imaging services. The facility utilizes Epic as its charting system and supports a wide variety of diagnostic imaging procedures including CT, X-ray, and specialized studies. The imaging department serves a diverse patient population across multiple care settings including emergency, ICU, and outpatient environments.
