Opportunity:
CT Tech
Job Details:
• 8-hour day shifts with a 30-minute lunch break
• Rotating weekend shifts required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Float required between outpatient and hospital settings as needed
• May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility
• Required certifications: ARRT R, BLS, Venipuncture Certification, Fluoro Permit
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Perform CT imaging including abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and vascular CTA studies
• Perform code stroke, trauma imaging, TAVR, and general CT exams and X-rays
• Experience with multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), myelography, CT arthrography, biopsies, aspirations, and drainage procedures
• Prepare and administer contrast media
• Perform venipuncture and start peripheral IVs
• Work with PACS, Siemens, and Toshiba equipment
• Treat patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Must work in both Emergency Department and ICU settings
• Scrub color: Black
• Traveler must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year
• Facility may call off once per two-week pay period
• RTO must be included at time of submission
• Valid California license in hand required
• 50-mile radius local rule applies
• 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years
Facility:
This acute care hospital operates with 277 staffed beds and provides comprehensive imaging services supporting a wide range of clinical departments including the Emergency Department and ICU. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and offers free parking for staff. The imaging department handles a high acuity patient population including code strokes, traumas, and complex vascular and transplant studies, supported by modern Siemens and Toshiba equipment.
