CT Scan Tech

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour day shifts on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM
• Holiday rotation required
• On-call rotation required with staff
• Floating within scope may be required to meet facility needs, including to Interventional Radiology
• Floating to sister facilities required
• Attendance at staff meetings is expected
• Caseload varies per shift and location
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred; 6 months of Level 1 Trauma experience required
• First-time travelers accepted with previous experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT RT (R)(CT), and SCRQSA (R)(CT)
• Siemens experience and Level 1 Trauma experience required
• Radiation badge must be provided by agency - facility does not provide radiation badges to travelers
• Epic charting system experience required
• Scrub color: Teal top and black bottom
• Parking pass available for a one-time payment of $20 (nights and weekends only)
• Orientation hours: 40 hours
• Patient age groups: Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics
• 3 CT rooms available with the following equipment: Siemens Force (Somaris 7), Siemens Go.Top (Somaris 10), and Siemens Somatom Definition (Somaris 7)
• Required skills include: Level 1 Trauma, 3D rendering, abdomen with/without contrast, brain perfusion, chest with/without contrast, head with/without contrast, musculoskeletal trauma, multiplanar reconstruction, PACS, radiation safety, vascular CTA, and preparation/administration of contrast media
• IR/Angio procedures including biopsies and drainage preferred

Facility:

This facility is a Magnet-designated teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center with 865 staffed beds. It also serves as a Comprehensive Stroke Center, offering a wide range of services including routine studies, outpatient care, cardiac imaging, and Interventional Radiology procedures. The facility is equipped with advanced imaging technology and maintains a high standard of patient care across multiple campuses.
