CT Scan Technologist – Pediatrics

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Monday–Wednesday 7:00 AM–4:30 PM and Thursday 7:00 AM–8:30 PM | No On-Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures independently in a high-acuity pediatric setting on a daily basis
• Operate Siemens CT equipment proficiently and without direct supervision
• Manage a daily caseload ratio of 1.5:1 while maintaining quality and safety standards
• Document and chart patient information accurately using Epic EMR
• Float to other buildings within the facility as needed to meet operational demands
• Participate in emergency response team assignments as required during hurricane season (June–November)

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography and CT – RT(R)(CT) required
• Active state license in hand at time of start (pending licenses not accepted)
• BLS certification required
• Demonstrated Siemens CT equipment experience (mandatory for independent daily operation)
• Level 1 Trauma experience required
• Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience preferred; first-time travelers with relevant experience considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a children's hospital or dedicated pediatric imaging environment
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system
• Experience working in a Magnet-designated, teaching, or Level 1 Trauma facility
