Travel RN ICU Position - Wichita, Kansas
Job Details

Required Experience

- Ascension EKG Exam (minimum 80% passing score)
- Ascension Skills Checklist (clinical skills, updated annually)
- Ascension 12 Panel Drug Screen (within 30 days prior to start, updated annually)
Required Health and Immunization Documentation
- MMR: Proof of two vaccines or positive IGG titer (no declinations accepted)
- Hepatitis B: Vaccination series completion or signed declination
- Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31); declinations accepted with mask requirement
- Positive PPD or Negative Chest X-Ray and Annual TB Questionnaire
- 2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) within required timeframes
- Varicella: Proof of immunity or two vaccines (no declinations accepted)
- Tdap: Valid within 10 years (no declinations accepted)
- Fit Test: Required annually (preferred prior to start)
Required Background and Verification Checks
- Ascension Criminal Background Check (including SSN Trace, Employment Verification, OIG Search, National Sex Offender)
- Ascension EPLS (Exclusionary Provider List System) check within 90 days prior to start
- Ascension Education Verification (within 90 days prior to start)
- Ascension Employment Verification (past 7 years)
- Ascension 2 Professional References (at least two)
Onboarding and Training Requirements
- Ascension Onboarding Requirements Education Attestation
- Ascension Nursing Contract Worker Onboarding (completed onsite)
- Ascension Nova StatStrip training (pre-hire modules)
- CPI/MOAB High Risk Online Portion (completed prior to start)
- CPI/MOAB High Risk On-Site Portion (completed at orientation)
- Ascension Profile (resume or professional profile submission)
- Ascension Confirmation of Assignment (provided upon initial assignment and updates)
Additional Notes
- Nursys verification and license verifications must be current within 30 days prior to start.
- Some certifications and exams require a minimum passing score of 80% with only two attempts allowed.
- TB testing and questionnaires must be updated annually.
- Flu vaccine declinations require mask-wearing during flu season.
