Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Case Manager (Days)

Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
  • Work schedule: 36-40 hours per week, with overtime billable after 40 hours.
  • Required to work 2 of 3 major winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving).
  • Limited time off allowed during late November and late December holiday periods.
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system used: EPIC.

Requirements

  • Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) with Case Management experience.
  • Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years of Case Management experience required.
  • Prior Travel Experience: At least 1 prior travel contract completed is required.
  • Must have a taxable address more than 50 miles from the facility.

    • Work history/resume
    • Skills checklist completed within 1 year
    • License verification
    • Required certifications
    • One supervisory reference
    • Proof of taxable address (e.g., driver's license, utility bill, lease agreement, etc.)

Certifications & Licensing

  • Must hold a valid Iowa nursing license.

Notes

  • On-call, charge, precepting, and holiday pay multipliers apply.
  • Call-back minimums and on-call hourly rates are part of the compensation structure.

This position is ideal for experienced RNs with case management expertise who have completed at least one prior travel assignment and are looking for a temporary role in Cedar Rapids, IA.
