Job Opportunity: Technologist - Computed Tomography (CT) (Nights)
Location: Colton, California
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work with two CT units:
- 64-Slice CT scanner with bariatric table (supports patients up to 660 pounds)
- Second spiral CT unit
- Medical Imaging department staffed by board-certified radiologists and registered, certified technologists in every modality
- Facility accredited by the American College of Radiology in Mammography, CT, Nuclear Medicine, MRI, and Ultrasound
- Equipment used includes Canon Aquilion Prime, Toshiba Aquilion One, and Aquilion 1 Genesis
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 36 months (3 years) of CT experience (highest required years of experience)
- Experience working in a Trauma Level I facility (required)
- Experience with Canon Aquilion Prime, Toshiba Aquilion One, and Aquilion 1 Genesis equipment (required)
Licenses & Certifications
- Active California state license (no pending licenses accepted)
- ARRT (R, CT) certification
- Venipuncture certification
- BLS certification
- CA Fluoroscopy license (highly preferred)
- COVID vaccination card with booster, if applicable
Additional Requirements
- CT Skills Checklist completed within the last 12 months
- At least one supervisor reference included; a second reference to be obtained during onboarding
Notes
- No prior travel experience explicitly required
- Interview process includes both interviews and some blind offers depending on the department
- Timekeeping involves filling out agency timesheets, supervisor review, and submission to agency
- Overtime and double time pay follow California labor laws and facility policies (blended rates, no guaranteed OT)
