CT Technologist (Computed Tomography) - Travel Contract

Location: Sacramento, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

A hospital in Sacramento is seeking an experienced CT/X-ray Technologist for a travel contract position. The role primarily involves working with CT and X-ray modalities, with a preference for candidates skilled in both, though CT-only candidates will also be considered.


Schedule

  • Shift: 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday
  • Hours: 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM
  • Call Requirement: Approximately 2 shifts per month with a 30-minute response time (details to be discussed during interview)

Equipment Used

  • GE 128 CT scanner
  • Siemens 64 CT scanner
  • GE and Siemens Digital Radiography (DR) rooms
  • OEC C-arms
  • Carestream portable X-ray units

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT/X-ray Technologist
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT (R))
  • Certified CT Technologist (ARRT (CT))
  • Valid California Radiologic Technologist license
  • Fluoroscopy certification required

Additional Information

  • Candidates must provide 2 supervisory references from modality work: one within the past 12 months and one within the past 3 years
  • Candidates should not have been employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any related facility within the past year; PRN employment through outside firms is acceptable
  • Multi-modality experience preferred, but training may be provided if necessary
