Job Description

A hospital in California is seeking an experienced Radiology/CT Technologist for a travel contract position. The role involves performing a variety of imaging studies including all X-ray (XR) and CT scans.

Work Schedule

• Shifts: 10 or 12 hour shifts for Radiology/CT
• Weekend work may be required depending on need
• Holiday work as needed

Imaging Modalities

• XR and CT scans
• MRI (performed by MRI techs)
• Nuclear Medicine scans (performed by Nuc Med techs)
• Ultrasound (except echo and legs; perinatal ultrasound limited to high-risk OB cases)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Radiology/CT
• Active California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license
• ARRT certification, CT certification preferred
• Fluoroscopy license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• RDMS certification required

Additional Information

• EMR/Equipment used: Cerner, DR PACS, Phillips
• Radiology department has 24/7 RT coverage and in-house hospitalist/intensivist support
• IV team not available
• Weekend and holiday coverage varies by need
